My name is Max Blakesberg. For the last 13 years I’ve had a passion for capturing moments through my lens. I’ve had the unique opportunity to be born and raised in an area conducive for growth within the creative world, while simultaneously allowing me to blend multiple passions into a cohesive mix which is my photography. Stemming from a water sports background, photography has been an integral part of my upbringing. As a result, my photography began to take aim to the ocean which has opened the door to incredible opportunities working alongside seasoned professionals and esteemed individuals in the marine science world. 

When not capturing underwater imagery, I spend the majority of my time working with brands and individuals capturing content that tell a unique story.

I’m passionate about creating compelling imagery that educates and inspires, and I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing clients and collaborators over the years.

What sets me apart as a photographer is my ability to bring a fresh perspective to familiar subjects, and to capture the essence of a moment in a way that is both authentic and visually stunning. Whether I’m shooting underwater or on land, I strive to create images that showcase the beauty and complexity of the natural world around us.

I believe photography can be a force for good, and I’m committed to using my skills and passion to promote conservation and preservation of the natural world. Through my work, I aim to inspire people to explore and connect with nature.
